Years ago if you drove down the highway and saw a wide-load truck carrying half of house, you might have thought modular construction meant “cookie cutter.” At one time that might have been true, as factory-built homes had limited style options and often had layouts and finishes similar to those in mobile homes.
But, thanks to manufacturing advances, modular construction is now highly adaptable to nearly any style and level of finish. On the residential side, for example, a new company named Boxabl has developed what it says are, “factory-built rooms that combine to build almost any building. In any style.”
Modular bathrooms are also customizable. While much of our work is with select-service hotels, SurePods modular bathrooms are also an excellent and well proven match for full-finish/luxury hotels.
