Building with recycled materials: While prefab construction has become a popular method for saving time during the construction process, it also offers developers the opportunity to partner with responsible manufacturers to reduce a project’s carbon footprint. For example, modular bathroom pod unit components are largely comprised of steel and wallboard – two building materials that can be produced using recycled content.
