The world’s largest hotel brand – Holiday Inn – is adding a new property in the hot Nashville market. Part of Intercontinental Hotels Group, the Holiday Inn Nashville Downtown will be a 15-story hotel in the city’s SoBro (South of Broadway) neighborhood, with convenient access to the Music City Center convention hall.
As the general contractor, D.F. Chase, Inc., erects the full-service property for Pinnacle Hospitality Partners, 700 miles to the south the hotel’s bathrooms are in production in the SurePods Orlando factory.
The 220 fully appointed bathroom pods will travel from Orlando to downtown Nashville by truck, where they will be craned into place, helping streamline construction of the $65 million hotel.
“Our bathrooms have been installed in many Intercontinental Hotels, and we’re excited to be involved in the growing Holiday Inn brand within one of world’s ’50 Best Places to Travel in 2017,’ according to Travel + Leisure magazine,” says Bill Seery, director of business development for SurePods.
