Project Description:
The Banner Gateway Medical Center underwent a significant expansion, adding 310,000 square feet to its campus and doubling its overall size with the construction of a new five-story patient tower. SurePods contributed to the project by supplying 86 prefabricated patient bathroom pods, manufactured at our SurePods West facility in Phoenix, AZ.
Our pods were installed on levels 2 through 5 by the SurePods install team. One of the floors was a shell space at the time, but had pods preinstalled for future use. In order to expedite the production and design process, we were able to utilize an existing pod design from our previous Banner Health project with modified finishes. For this project, our production took roughly 2-1/2 months from start to finish.
