Omni Louisville Hotel Hits a Homerun Months before Opening

Although it isn’t scheduled to open until March 2018, the Omni Louisville Hotel under construction in the city’s downtown, already has booked 82,000 room nights through 2023, reports Louisville Business First. Located in the state’s largest city – home of the Kentucky Derby and storied Louisville Slugger baseball bat maker – the hotel is on track to open a month earlier than originally planned.

In July the developer hosted a topping-off celebration to mark a major milestone in the construction of the 30-floor, 612-room hotel. Befitting the state’s heritage, topping-off festivities included a “bourbon baptism” of what will be Louisville’s tallest hotel.

When the thousands of already-booked guests begin staying at the hotel next spring, they will enjoy well-appointed SurePods bathrooms. Built at the SurePods plant in Orlando, the hotel’s pre-fab bathrooms were trucked to Louisville for fast and ready installation.

Watch for other announced hospitality property openings in the coming months that feature SurePods.
