As residents and visitors to Seattle know, the arrival of spring is like a re-awakening, as months of gray skies give way to sunny, vibrant days. This year, spring in the Emerald City will be especially bright as the beautiful, new Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square opens in late March.

Hotel developer Greg Steinhaeur, President of American Life, is a big fan of the pre-fab bathroom pods, after using them to trim 8 weeks from the construction schedule for the 23-story LA Live Marriott Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
“The bathroom is the most complex part of a hotel room,” says Steinhaeur. “You have many different trade professionals working in a small space, plus lots of materials having to go up the lift, to build them. We only see advantages to using SurePods, especially given Seattle’s tight construction labor market.”
