On March 30, 2022, SurePods celebrated the official opening of the new expansion to its facility in Orlando, Florida. An additional 40,000-sq.-ft. has been added to the existing 80,000-sq.-ft. of combined manufacturing and administrative workspaces.
SurePods Orlando facility was established in 2014 with only 20 employees. Currently, over 170 employees are with SurePods spread between Orlando and Phoenix.
With the Orlando expansion complete, SurePods East has increased its work capacity by 75% and added new employment opportunities for Orange County locals. According to Toby Bartlett, SurePods Business Unit Leader, “Our Orlando location continues to serve SurePods very well with access to a skilled workforce, high quality of living for our associates, a friendly business environment, and an excellent distribution infrastructure.”
Casey Barns, Vice President of Business Development for Orlando’s Economic Partnership, cut the grand opening ribbon with Bartlett and congratulated SurePods for its latest milestone.
